Sea View Retreat

Meal time is always a special time at Sea View Retreat.

Sea View’s dietary department takes great pride in preparing delicious and bountiful meals. The smells of scratch-baked breads and pastries along with mouth-watering main courses seeps from the kitchen into the hallways. Our guests enjoy home-style cooking, complete with fresh fruits and vegetables, sumptuous desserts and all the fixings.

But meal times are more than just great food. It’s a time to gather together in the elegant, fireplace dining room. It’s a time to break bread among friends, share conversation and review the day’s activities and news.

Special Wants And Special Needs

Because Sea View is home to a small number of residents, the dietary staff gets to know everyone well. Do you prefer two spoonfuls of sugar with your tea? You say you want your bread lightly toasted? We’ll be sure to remember your special requests.

If a guest doesn’t care for a particular main course, an alternative will gladly be offered. This, after all, is our residents’ home and we want them to know their individual preferences are important to us.

We accommodate our guests’ dietary requirements as well. Each resident’s record is reviewed and special needs like low-salt diets and food allergies are carefully considered at daily meals.

It’s A Celebration

Special occasions like holidays and family gatherings are truly special thanks to the wonderful foods our kitchen staff prepares. Residents enjoy the summer breezes in our screened gazebo along with delicious barbecued fare hot off the grill. Thanksgiving means roasted turkey carved right at the table and home-baked pies. And what would New Year’s Eve be without a special toast and some late-night treats?
