In an era of large, impersonal nursing facilities dominated by a handful of corporate giants, Sea View Retreat offers an inviting and unique ambiance. Bedroom.jpg (19800 bytes)

Since 1954, Sea View’s proud tradition has been preserved as the area’s most elegant extended care community. The enchanting building, manicured grounds, gentle ocean breezes and 300 rolling acres, complete with horses and the occasional deer, recall a simpler time of country living.

Guided by professional expertise, yet filled with tenderness and patience, they offer equal doses of care and compassion. Behind this commitment to excellence has been three generations of the Comley Family. Since the mid 1950s, when they founded Sea View, the Comley’s mission to offer comfort and care in a family-like home overflowing with warmth has remain unchanged.

Many people have passed through Sea View’s stately door through the years. Originally built as a grand summer "cottage" around the turn-of-the century, the mansion welcomed many proper Bostonians. The inviting brick facade was even captured on film when it served as the setting for the 1946 James Cagney movie, "13 Rue Madeline."
